The AMG (Asia-Pacific Mensa Gathering) was held in Yokohama, Japan, from November 13 to 15, 2025. The event is primarily intended to bring together Mensa members from across Asia, while members from around the world are also warmly welcomed.
The hosts prepared a rich and engaging program for participants, including a group of members from Mensa Croatia, which was the third-largest European delegation at the event.
In the official part, Presidency member Kruno Tomola Fabro held a 25-minute presentation on the topic "IT is not the focus", with Q&A included. The presentation focused on the consequences of devoting too much attention and energy to IT within Mensa.
Before and after the AMG, members of Mensa Croatia travelled to several Japanese cities and visited numerous cultural and tourist attractions, giving them an opportunity to experience and learn more about Japan’s rich culture and heritage.
The next AMG will be held in India in 2026.
